New Berlin works
I am now reaching the final stages of the exhibition. Invitations all sorted and are at the printers etc. Next is the full on media release for Canberra and the Coast. By the end of the next few weeks I will have completed 11 large works on canvas and the video installation for the opening and another for the main gallery.
This started out as a challenge to me on many different levels. The one month in Berlin last year was a returning to my roots as a painter again. This series of work has given me a focus and an opportunity to work large and exclusively in my studio. The video installations responded to the experience and is now continuing in collaboration with Andreas Herrmann in further projections.
